ETHICSPRO is deligted to announce the  21st Annual International Vincentian Business Ethics Conference

All Hallows College Dublin, Ireland

29th October  -  1st November 2014

All Hallows College, Dublin, Ireland

All Hallows College, Dublin will host IVBECin 2014. This is the first time in its 20 year history that the conference will take place outside of the USA. It attracts leading academics to examine, discuss and develop the role of Business Ethics in economic, political, corporate and social life today.

The IVBEC 2014 conference will focus on The Impact of Business Ethics on Public Life and will address how the recent crisis in corporate ethics has affected public life and confidence in our banking, political, social and religious organizations.

The overall goal of this conference is to promote the importance of Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, highlight its importance for public life and society and establish modalities of leadership, work and organisation that consider social justice in the service of others at their core rather than as an adjunct activity

Specifically we aim to encourage

  • the interchange of ideas, best practice and analysis between US and European Researchers
  • draw Business Ethics into the sphere of public discourse
  • foster a strong ethical sensibility and culture for public life

We hope that the IVBEC conference will have a particular resonance for Ireland and Europe.  Holding the conference in Europe will also encourage greater collaboration between US and European academics, exploring commonalities and highlighting differences.
